Constructions are given in Belden catalogue shorthand: Pr = pair, C = conductor, Str = stranded, Sol = solid, TC = tinned copper, BC = bare copper, OS = overall shield, IS = individual shield, Brd = braid, Ins = insulation, Jkt = jacket.
What ECE R118 means for cables
UN Regulation No. 118 sets burning-behaviour requirements for materials used inside buses and coaches. Vehicle manufacturers therefore ask for cables that carry this approval for on-board Ethernet, passenger information, video and antenna links.
Which networks are covered?
Belden lists Cat5e and Cat7 Ethernet cables, PROFINET types and H155 50 ohm coaxial cable with the approval.
Buses and rail vehicles
Two of the codes are RailTuff types that Belden also lists to EN 45545 hazard levels HL 1 to 3, the fire standard for rail vehicles.

The code or the cable type, the total length and the put-up you prefer. If your customer specifies a particular revision of the regulation, add it to the request so we can check the Belden documents.
