Take a satellite receiver output, video or camera signal from an HDMI or SDI source over the internet to any distance and recover it at the destination on HDMI, SDI or directly on a computer. Point-to-point live transmission with BLANKOM encoders and receivers.

Four ways to use it

The link can be set up in two ways: you push the content from your site to the distant location, or you pull the signal from the distant location to your site. An internet connection is needed at both ends.
Recommended internet speed
- H.264 encoding: we recommend an upload speed of at least 2 Mbps for SD and at least 4 Mbps for HD.
- H.265 (HEVC) encoding: we recommend an upload speed of at least 1.4 Mbps for SD and at least 2.8 Mbps for HD.
- These figures are PROTEL’s application guidance; the speed needed depends on the picture content and the quality required.

Frequently asked questions about live transmission over the internet
Is a static IP address needed for live transmission over the internet?
It depends on the set-up. Where the stream is pushed to a platform or server it is generally not needed; where it is pulled from the distant location the sending end has to be reachable. Describe your project and we will suggest the set-up.
How much delay is there?
The delay depends on the protocol, the encoding settings and the internet connection; the actual figure is measured on the installation.
I do not know the model code. How do I get a quotation?
Send the sources, the number of channels, the destination of the streams and the viewing points; we will suggest the system.
