About us
PROTEL was established in Istanbul in 1988. We work in communications electronics, IP communication and TV broadcast equipment, RF and broadband test and measurement instruments, communication cables, satellite TV and IPTV systems. We are responsible for sales and after-sales support for more than 20 brands.
Besides product sales we provide system design and engineering support. Multi-channel IPTV headends, the migration of media organisations from SDI to IP, point-to-point live transmission over the internet, efficient operation of IP encoders and decoders, and HEVC applications are fields in which we have long experience.
We sell to professional users and ship worldwide from our warehouses in Germany and Turkey, as the customer prefers.

Cables
Ethernet (LAN), industrial, coaxial, fiber optic, audio-video and broadcast cables. We are the general distributor of Belden, Telegärtner and Datwyler in Turkey.
Connectors and connectivity
RJ45 patch cords, structured cabling, RF connectors, fiber optic and multimedia connectivity: Telegärtner, IRENIS, Datwyler, PROTELFiBER, PureLink.
Test and measurement
Electromagnetic field (EMF) measurement, spectrum analysis, TV and satellite measurement, video test and measurement: Narda, PROMAX, DEKTEC.
IPTV and TV broadcasting
IP encoders and streamers, IPTV headends, IP decoders, professional IRDs and multiplexers: BLANKOM.
SMATV, satellite TV, cable TV
DVB-C headends, modulators, multiswitches and TV distribution over fiber: BLANKOM and Televes products.
Workshop, components and service
GOOT soldering products, RF and microwave components; calibration, repair and training services.

We develop the firmware and the middleware of the IP encoder and set-top box series in-house in Germany. Worldwide sales of the IPTV products are handled from Germany.
