Frequently asked questions about DC power supplies
What is a programmable power supply used for?
Voltage and current are set and read by commands from a PC. It is used in automated test set-ups and repeated measurements.
Can the outputs be connected in series or in parallel?
On the FA-853B and FA-665B the outputs can work independently, in series or in parallel. Series connection raises the voltage, parallel connection the current.
