Which headend fits your project?
A DVB-C (QAM) headend converts DVB-S/S2 services received from satellite to DVB-C (transmodulation); the services are distributed in the building or estate over coaxial and fiber optic cable and watched with the built-in DVB-C tuner of the television sets.

Frequently asked questions about DVB-C headends
What does a transmodulator do?
It demodulates the DVB-S/S2 carrier from the satellite and remodulates its channels as a DVB-C (QAM) carrier, so that the services can be distributed on the cable network.
Can encrypted channels be distributed?
The HDC-6008CI has 4 CI slots for CAM modules. Distributing encrypted services requires authorisation from the broadcaster concerned.
What do adjacent and non-adjacent outputs mean?
With adjacent outputs the carriers sit on consecutive channels; with non-adjacent outputs the frequency of each carrier is chosen independently. The HDC-7004 and HDC-6008CI deliver 4 adjacent QAM outputs, the HDC-7016A and HDC-7024A 16 non-adjacent ones.
I do not know the model code. How do I get a quotation?
Send the number of transponders and channels, whether any services are encrypted and the destination of the streams; we will suggest the model.
